The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.  Rotary is a service organization with the motto “Service Above Self.” Rotary strives to achieve this objective through activities in five avenues of service: Vocational, Youth, Community, Club and International.

The avenue of club service promotes the development of acquaintance within the club as an opportunity for service.  Club Service focuses on strengthening fellowship and ensuring the effective functioning of the club. For success in the club this committee sets up all the basic needs of the meetings, facilitates discussions about how to improve the resources for meeting presentation and encourages club member activities and interaction. Outings to baseball games, museums, cooking clubs, lunch at Rotary Park and many other social activities increases member familiarity and makes the family in Rio Rancho Rotary a better team.
